ISSNOVA partner’s contribution to the System integration and evaluation of operational constraints!

ISSNOVA was contributor of the task 2.4 named “System integration and evaluation of operational constraints”. In the above-mentioned task, ISSNOVA in collaboration with ELKON and SCU provided the risk assessment methodology providing a seven-steps HAZard IDentification (HAZID) methodology to identify potential risks during the design process. In addition, ISSNOVA defined the risk matrix classifying the hazardous events based on likelihood and severity and providing their mitigation actions. This work paved the baseline for the methodology to be used for the battery risk assessment that will be executed within the deliverable 3.7. Finally, ISSNOVA provided prevention activities in case of the incorrect handling along all integration phases of electrification in the maritime environment.

FLEXSHIP received funding from EU Horizon Europe research and innovation program under Grant Agreement no. 101095863.
