Sivas Cumhuriyet University was founded in Sivas in 1974 in commemoration of the 50th year of the foundation of the Turkish Republic. Started with the Faculty of Medicine in 1974, the university provides higher education to 51795 students with 18 Faculties, 4 Institutes of Postgraduate Education, 1 State Conservatory, 4 Colleges, and 14 vocational schools today. The mobility and energy team at SCU is made up of a group of researchers working on mobility, logistics, urban mobility, artificial intelligence, and energy topics with several project experiences. These mobility and energy studies are elaborated with the smart grid, power electronics, control, and electrical machines topics. The team has been growing day by day with the participation of talented new members. The team is currently aiming to improve (extend) its network through local and international projects. In accordance with SCU’s mobility experiences, SCU is a partner in the FLEXSHIP Project in 6 WPs and SCU supports and works with the related research activities in these WPs. The FLEXSHIP is very important for the SCU MOBILERS team because electric and hybrid marine vessels are being more and more important in the mobility industry and academia around the world, especially definitely in the Europe and Turkish Republic.
