Long term skills needs and strategies for a green shipping value chain is a hot topic in the European waterborne sector.
Task 6.2 of the FLEXSHIP project kicked-off in January 2024 to deal with this topic, which also aims to provide operational transferability of the developed solutions in the wider waterborne ecosystem.
The long-term strategy that we aim to develop shall provide the tools and pathways to upskill and reskill the current and future crew and shore-based personnel in the field of vessel electrification.
