This Deliverable D8.2, the Data Management Plan (DMP), provides a comprehensive overview of the data generated and managed by the project, including the methodologies and standards employed, in line with the relevant EC guidelines and Horizon Europe DMP template1 . It outlines how the data is made accessible for verification and reuse, as well as how it is curated and preserved in line with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable)2 The ownership IPR, data, and other key knowledge among the participating beneficiaries is defined in the signed Consortium Agreement. The DMP also encompasses the handling of data throughout the project’s duration and beyond, with the aim of minimizing the risk of data loss or other potential threats that could compromise its integrity or usability. The DMP is a dynamic document that will be regularly updated to support the data management lifecycle for all collected, processed, or generated data within the project. This preliminary version of the DMP establishes measures for promoting the project’s findings during the FLEXSHIP lifecycle and defines procedures for sharing project data, adhering to the FAIR principles for research data. This document falls under the activities of Task 8.3 Research knowledge and data management mechanism within the framework of FLEXSHIP.
