SOERMAR, a key partner in the FLEXSHIP project, presented the initiative at the II Maritime Innovation Forum on May 29 in Madrid, as part of the TechMarine Innova 2025 programme.
The event served as a valuable platform to disseminate FLEXSHIP’s objectives and showcase the project’s current progress to key stakeholders in the maritime sector. The presentation highlighted FLEXSHIP’s innovative approach to electrification and digitalisation in ship design and operations, contributing to the broader goal of accelerating the transition to zero-emission vessels.
This engagement helped raise awareness of the project among industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers, encouraging dialogue and collaboration on sustainable maritime solutions.
