We’re thrilled to share the progress on Task 2.4 of the Flexship Project – a true collaborative effort involving every partner, with Elkon leading the way!
This task focuses on system integration and the evaluation of operational constraints, paving the way for groundbreaking sustainable shipping solutions.
We will use two demonstration vessels
- Demo vessel 1: A fully electrified vessel, operating emission-free across routes spanning 50 to 100 nautical miles.
- Demo vessel 2 Operating in an electric-hybrid configuration, tackling longer routes between 100 and 300 nautical miles.
The two demo vessels will showcase the potential of FLEXSHIP solutions in achieving sustainable shipping operations. Together, we’re pushing boundaries toward a greener future!
