ABEE partner’s contribution in system integration and evaluation of operational constraints

ABEE has been instrumental in identifying key battery-related constraints, including weight, electrical, and mechanical aspects. This is critical for the safe and efficient operation of the two demonstration vessels involved in the project.

Our team’s focus on electrical and mechanical restrictions has provided invaluable insights for the overall design and integration of the energy storage system.

We’ve been working closely with other partners like BRING to ensure seamless battery integration. This collaborative effort is paving the way for more sustainable and efficient maritime transport.

Our contributions are aiding in refining the generic system description and enabling detailed simulation-based designs, which will be vital for the next phases of the FLEXSHIP project.

FLEXSHIP received funding from EU Horizon Europe research and innovation program under Grant Agreement no. 101095863.
