The development of the Digital Twin (DT) in Task 2.5 has been successfully completed, resulting in a functional and integrated Digital Twin framework for the DEMO vessels. This DT incorporates the PMS and EMS models developed in previous tasks, ensuring realistic system behaviour under various operational scenarios. Key achievements include the adaptation of single-line diagrams for simulation, implementation of control strategies, and validation of power management approaches. While certain simplifications and assumptions were necessary, the DT provides a valuable tool for analysing vessel energy performance, testing operational strategies, and supporting future developments in vessel electrification and optimization.
